Notion of digital divide no longer relevant due to laptop scheme, says Balighur Rehman

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman Sunday assailed the political opponents, saying that they had previously criticised the laptop scheme for "political point scoring".

Addressing an event, Baligh emphasised the value of the country's youth, saying, "The youth is an asset of the country. The notion of a digital divide is no longer relevant due to the laptop scheme".

He praised PM Shehbaz Sharif, saying, "The premier has served the country under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif."

Baligh schooled the political opponents, saying, "They have resorted to to deceptive tactics in recent years. But we will not have to believe in rumours".
